How answers earn a publish button
For Dazed Games’ 2026 Steam game How to Fish (app 4001890), not real-world fishing. A source must solve the exact player question, not merely mention the same boss or item.
01 · Source ladder
Evidence has weight.
Official Steam news, patch notes or a Dazed Games statement that answers the exact question.
Steam product, achievement and Deck compatibility records for platform-controlled facts.
Separately produced walkthroughs that show the same version-matched mechanic.
A useful lead, but not enough for an exact answer.
A page that does not expose primary evidence is not an independent source.
02 · Exact-intent test
Adjacent facts do not become answers.
Knowing that a boss exists does not prove its trigger. Knowing that a patch mentions saves does not prove the save-file path. Every evidence card breaks the proposed answer into claims and checks each claim against a dated URL before it can enter the page.
03 · Draft behavior
Unproven pages stay quiet.
- No Quick Answer.
noindex, nofollow.- Absent from the sitemap.
- No links from the homepage, index or published answers.
- A visible DRAFT label and a list of missing proof.
13 pages currently pass; 6 remain held back.
04 · Corrections
Patch changes are expected.
Every page names the checked build and source date. If a patch invalidates a claim, the page should return to draft until the replacement answer clears the same gate. Send a correction with a public source.
